Does it need an internet connection?
No. Mahallu Management is offline-first — it runs entirely on your computer with an on-device database. Internet is only needed for optional cloud backup and automatic updates.
Which platforms does it run on?
It's a desktop app for Windows. You install it once on the committee's computer and it's ready to use.
Is it really available in Malayalam?
Yes — the entire interface is fully translated into English and Malayalam, and printed receipts, reports and certificates render Malayalam text correctly.
Can I move my existing records in?
Yes. You can bulk-import houses and families from a CSV file, so you can onboard your whole mahallu at once instead of typing everything by hand.
Where is my data stored?
In a local database on your own device. Nothing is uploaded unless you turn on optional cloud backup. Your community's data stays private and under your control.
